Zhejiang aims to reach 54 GW of solar and wind installed capacity by 2030

Zhejiang provincial government recently issued a development plan for peaking its carbon emissions and reaching carbon neutrality. Notably, the government expects that the proportion of non-fossil energy sources will reach 30% of its energy consumption and that the combined wind and solar installed capacity will be superior to 54 GW by 2030. The plan also ambitions to develop several GW scale offshore wind farms.
