On January 28, China’s first renewable energy “carbon neutral" Smart Park certification ceremony was held at the Goldwind Technology Yizhuang Smart Park in Beijing – providing guidance on how to achieve carbon neutral goals throughout the entire industry.

This carbon neutral certification was conducted by a third-party certification body authorized by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) to verify greenhouse gas emissions in the park in accordance with the ISO14064-1:2006 standard.

The Goldwind Yizhuang Smart Park is a green park ecosystem that integrates renewable energy, smart micro-grid, smart water system, green agriculture and sports & health facilities. In terms of smart micro-grids particularly, the park will achieve 50% of clean energy in 2021 relying on its 4.8MW of decentralized wind power, 1.3MW of distributed PV as well as vanadium flow batteries, lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors and other forms of battery storage.
