Zhejiang province to increase peak and valley price gap to reach 0.82 CNY/kWh

Zhejiang DRC released a document on “further improving the time-of-use electricity pricing policy”.

The peak-to-valley price gap will notably be further widened to reach 0.82 CNY/kWh. The policy differentiates prices for large industrial players and for commercial players. The price gap for large industrials is larger most of the day except between 7pm and 9pm (see graph below). For reference, Guangdong’s peak-to-valley price gap reaches 1.17 CNY/kWh.
