Yunnan’s provincial DRC recently released a plan to “ensure supply and promote investment” in new energy projects.
The plan includes 56 wind and solar projects with a total capacity of 4.45 GW. The plan includes 10 wind projects with a total capacity of 0.75 GW and 46 solar projects with a total capacity of 3.7 GW. The projects must start construction before the end of 2021 and must be connected to the grid 10, 8 or 6 months after the beginning of construction depending on the size and type of project.
