Jiangsu DRC recently released the "Second Public Announcement of the Environmental Impact Assessment of Jiangsu's "14th FYP" Offshore Wind Power Planning".
According to the document, there are 28 planned sites representing a capacity of 9.09 GW and a total planned area of 1444km². As of December 2020, Jiangsu had already approved projects representing an installed capacity of 12.8 GW. With 6.2 GW of installed offshore wind capacity in April 2021, Jiangsu is the largest Chinese province in terms of installed capacity.
