On September 7th, the Central China Regulatory Bureau of the NEA issued the "Implementation Rules for the Management of Auxiliary Services for Grid-connected Power Plants in Central China" and the "Implementation Rules for the Management of Grid-connected Operation of Power Plants in Central China" (hereinafter referred to as the "two rules").
The "two rules" point out that grid-connected generating units of 30MW and above (including wind farms and centralized PV power plants) must have a primary frequency regulation function attached. The rules are applicable to grid-connected power plants dispatched by power dispatch agencies at the provincial level and above in Henan Province, Hubei Province, Hunan Province, Jiangxi Province, Sichuan Province, and Chongqing Municipality in Central China.
The “two rules” will come into effect on November 1, 2020 and will be valid for five years. (BJX)
