Eight provinces have released their grid guaranteed wind project list for 2021, representing a total of 15.4 GW

According to data from the International Energy Network, until now 8 provinces (Guangxi, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Tianjin, Gansu) have issued the list of guaranteed grid connection project list, representing a total of 15.4 GW of wind power projects.

Guangxi and Shandong provinces represent the largest part of the capacity with 5.6 GW and 3.1 GW respectively. Overall, energy state-owned enterprises have obtained the most projects, representing about 50% of the projects, while private enterprises have won 36% of the projects. The state-owned companies SPIC (国家电投) and CHN Energy (国家能源集团) have dominated the biddings, obtaining 2.3 GW and 1.3 GW of capacity respectively. (International Energy Network)
