1880 CNY/kW bidding price was reached for a wind project in Yunnan

Tenders for the purchase of wind turbines for two of China General Nuclear’s (CGN) development projects in Yunnan, the Wenxing 480MW wind farm in Qujing and the 180MW wind farm at Malipo Dawangyan, have yielded offers under 2000 CNY / kW for the first time in China. The offer was made by the turbine manufacturer Shanghai Electric, who bid the lowest price against eight other competitors. The size of turbines ranged from 4 MW to 6.25 MW.
